Thank you to all the students and families who supported our Spring Book Sale, sponsored by Bookworm Central.

We earned lots of great new books for our students that will be on shelves soon! Thanks for supporting the love of reading!

Donations of gently used books are always being accepted for our fall Used Book Sale.  Donations can be dropped off in the front office on a continual basis. Please label your student's name on the box or bag to help with volunteer hours.

Students who are attending Porter Traditional School as virtual students for the 2021-2022 school year may still check out materials from our library.  Please fill out the following form to request materials.

VIRTUAL Learners Request for Library Materials

This is ONLY FOR VIRTUAL LEARNERS!  All other students can request materials and check out from the library in person when their classes visit. Thank you!

MyON Reading
CleverMy On

Students can log on to their Office 365 email accounts, log in and then go into the Clever waffle to choose books through MyOn to read.  There are tons of fiction, nonfiction, chapter books and extension books to read throughout the summer. Parents can email classroom teachers, Mrs. Banks, or Ms. Greer for more information on accessing these titles

Our log-in goes in the red Capstone Interactive section.
(Email Mrs. Banks for log-in info at [email protected])

Our Porter Student Code is available if you email Mrs. Banks at [email protected]

And you can use Hoopla if you have a public library card to download and check out eBooks from their site.

Try one of these great "Reading Maker" activities, if you are looking for a way to incorporate building something and your love of books.

Parent Volunteers
We love to have parent volunteers help us shelve books, assist with book fairs and work on special projects in the library! If you're interested in volunteering in the library, please contact Mrs. Johnson ([email protected]) or Mrs. Banks ([email protected]) to schedule dates and times!

We look forward to working with you! Some of our volunteers may also be helping with our newly designed Makerspace!
